The boy peeked around the corner. They were coming to kill him. A hand reached out and snatched him back, holding his hand over the other little boy's mouth. {Complete!} It has been three months since the Ceremonial Duel, but to Yuugi it felt like years. The love of his life was gone from his life and all Yuugi had to remember his Yami were the memories and the feelings of unrequited love left unspoken in his heart. Strange dreams have been plaguing him as of late, each one about crimson eyes and an ancient civilization that Yuugi knows all too well. After an accident leaves Yuugi hospitalized these dreams quickly begin to grow more real. Almost as if they were memories. What does it mean? Yami is finding it difficult being away from everyone and now has returned to being Atem. A few years has passed and Yami finally has a mirror into Yugi's world and is able to see what he is up to. Unfortunately it isn't going well with Yugi as he is not the happy teen he used to be. Yami has had enough of watching and begs the gods to let him return and they do, giving him the body he used to have. What will happen when Yugi meets up with Yami again and when Yami has seen what has happened to Yugi. I do not own Yugioh or it's characters, I only own the plot. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. Unfortunately it doesn't turn out as good as Yugi thought. Tea, a girl who had once been his best and oldest friend had rejected and humiliated him, was back asking for Yugi's heart. In the storm of drama have Yugi realized that asking Joey for advice maybe wasn't the best decision he's ever made, and Yami realizes that there's still a small part of his past that hasn't come out in the light. Never could the two soul partners guess that such a small gap in memory could bring one of them so close to the door, leading to Heaven. He limped and almost fell against the trunk of a tree, its pink petals almost beautiful if it weren't for the sickening rain. Such a tall and beautiful tree. Joey felt as if he's intruding. He thought it was a sight for sore eyes; a beautiful thing next to something so disgusting. The pretty and captivating with the eye-sore. The rain grew dense and he felt as if ice cubes were falling on his neck and back. The tree tried its hardest to protect the boy, but droplets flew past soaked branches. He reasoned that this must be someone telling him that nothing can help him now. He closed his eyes and accepted it all. The cold, the pain, the wind on his face, hell, even the migraine growing louder in his skull... But the sound of strong footsteps is not one he expected. For legal reasons that I personally don't understand, I have to reiterate that I do not own Yugioh or the characters, this is just for entertainment purposes only. Yami Atem, a once cruel and heartless king, was obsessed with power and therefore, only cared for himself. However, because of his cold heart and selfish ways, he paid the ultimate price: Becoming a hideous dragon beast. Now Yami has one year to make things right by falling in love with another, who will return those same affections, otherwise he will remain with the doomed fate of staying a dragon beast forever. However, due to his ghastly form, he has locked himself away in his castle, abandoning the idea that he could break this curse, for who could ever love a beast such as he? Yugi Motou is a young man who only wishes for someone to understand what it's like to be an outcast, to be misunderstood by the world all because you're different in some way. It may seem like a petty thing I ask for, but to Yugi, it would mean the world to have someone who knows just what it's like to feel unwanted all because you're different. However, while going to run an errand for his grandfather, Yugi accidently stumbles upon a castle with a shining blue rose to light his path, meeting the infamous Yami Atem. So then, what will come when these two meet, and can Yugi break through Yami's thick walls to restore what he has lost or will it be too late to warm his frozen heart?
