ALMOST FAERYE

A world 245 years into our future sees nearly all of the states from Maine to Virginia secede to solidify a future against the Wicked Wuns, a future where the pleasantries of the old ways are the new customs. As the Wicked Wuns demanded it, the world is reverting back to recognizing that all of earth's creatures, including magicklings, deserve to live off of the rich land and bask in the sun's warm light. The region's long-running holiday, Sacrificing Day, is upon the region. One brave young woman, Emma, will venture out across the wood and mountains to deliver the Sacrifice to someone in need. As she finds, there is much more to the holiday, and to her journey, than she bargained for. Creatures of magic and folklore will begin to surface to guide the girl on her path. An emerging world of faeryes will bring light and love to her darkest times, and perhaps, young Emma will find that her choice of the ultimate Sacrifice will either destroy the land, or destroy her soul.
