I'm laying on my back. My eyes are closed but I'm not sleeping. I listen to my parents argue. My dad is the Alpha. But he never found his mate. So he married my mom. I'm afraid that I won't find my mate. So I start to cry because I'm afraid. But I know I''m strong. My Dad comes in and wraps me in his arms. When I'm done he whispers:

How We Met
As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face.
