Brooke Clinton was murdered mysteriously. While in a coma. Someone before this had attempted to kill her in her home, but not a single trace was discovered, apart from a knife.
Meet Claudia Pryce. Brooke's best friend. Claudia is angry, frustrated, and perplexed on the whole situation. So, she tries to figure out the mystery, with no help whatsoever.
Brooke's murderer is on the trail to kill everybody who gets involved. More and more strange, unexplained, murders are happening. Even news reporters are being hunted down, and being killed, then being found wherever.
So as you can guess, Claudia is in danger. Not that she cares, really, for all she wants is evidence and the truth.
Sometimes though, you have to go deeper than usual to dig up the truth. And sometimes the truth is found in a note, on dead bodies.

Caleb
Caleb is definitely a troubled child. Alone, with nothing going for him, he attempts to take his own life but fails at his first attempt. He desperately wants to try again but is put under constant supervision, especially by his new doctor, Dr Palmer. Dr Palmer becomes more and more involved in Caleb’s life, trying to help him see that his life is worth living through various methods. Eventually, the two build up a trusting and understanding relationship and Dr Palmer allows Caleb to do things that his parents would have never have let him do so soon after something so tragic. Caleb gets his life back on track, enrolling at college and even meeting a girl whom he used to know as a child. The two of them begin to date each other, and everything seems great for a while. That is, until Caleb remembers the reason that he tried to commit suicide in the first place, revealing a secret that shatters his new found confidence. As things at home begin to deteriorate too, Caleb’s situation goes from bad to worse. The only person who knows the truth, Dr Palmer, leaves him to stand on his own two feet, declaring him cured. He starts back at college full time, and becomes ever closer with Stephanie, the only person whom he feels that he can trust. When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide. However, they are just trying to build a case against his father. In desperation, Caleb tried to reach out to Dr Palmer, against the advice of his mother. As his life spirals out of control, Dr Palmer makes him realise that the only way he can carry on is to come clean and reveal his secret.
