Adrian Byrd has been burned in the worst possible way. Blacklisted by his own father from any scouting agency in England, slicing, dicing, and effectively ending his possible career as a professional rugby player. With his parent's divorce, his dreams are dashed. Having nothing to lose and wanting a complete change of scenery that didn't remind him of everything he lost Adrian follows his mother and enrolls in Blackwell University. But when the football team suddenly loses its running back, Adrian in an exasperated moment of weakness,caves to pressure to chase a ball and in one action finds a new home on the football team and is enchanted by the beautiful brunette that hates football players.
