"No matter how much it hurts now. Someday you'll look back and realize, it changed your life for the better." ~unknown
Launa is in her senior year of High School, six months until she graduates. Her life has been easy, her family was happy, her parents loved each other, and everything was just perfect. That was until she was in eighth grade, her parents started to change... Not in a good way, but in a way that made her whole family miserable. She can't wait to get out of her house, it doesn't feel like home anymore. Even though she tries to be strong for her siblings, she needs someone who can be strong for her. Sometimes she wishes her parents would divorce already, it's better than they being in each other's face all the time when they speak. But is that what she really wants? Is that what's best for the family? She'll leave eventually for college, but what would her siblings go through if she's not there? Not everything is about Launa. But if she wants to be happy, someone has to pay the price.
