Jacob Hunter needed a break. He was so exhausted he could hardly see straight. So he told his brother, Matt, he was taking a few days off. Vacation was hard to do when you killed monsters for a living. But a guy had to try, right? So he got in his car and drove - and he somehow ended up in Broken Branch, Colorado Then he ended up in a bar, where he met a girl. And try as he might, he couldn't resist her. Her name was Maggie and she was nowhere even near his type. And there was something about this town that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up - but he was compelled to stick around and see if there was more to this Maggie - and this town - to figure out.
