Princess Rapunzel of Corona had everything. She had her kingdom. She had her parents. She had her subjects. She even had her best friend, Jackson Overland. But that all changed after an accident on a pond one winter afternoon.

All that you know is wrong. Rapunzel was never kidnapped when she was a baby. Jack Frost never saved his sister. Jack saved Rapunzel. But of course, he was lost to the bitter cold. Devastated, Rapunzel is left alone on the icy pond.

Feeling sorry for her, the sun allowed a droplet of herself to fall from the sky, creating a magic golden flower which made Rapunzel become immortal, having the gift of healing.

But with a broken heart, the gift somehow turned into a curse. Her hair turned black, and she was cursed with the power of death. Realizing that she was too dangerous for her kingdom, she ran deep into the forest, never to be seen again. Until one day... The Guardians needed her help.
