Planning to forget his past in Spain, Antonio Fernández Carriedo travels to the Italian province of Valtiberina to buy the cottage he was born in, and live there for the rest of his days. Competition soon arises, as an Italian man named Roma, vouches for the humble cottage, and Antonio is willing to fight for it. As he tries to put together a life in the small, humble town of Tocana, he is surrounded by popularity and welcomed by helpful guides, pretty women, and kind new friends. As time passes, Antonio has caught the eye of a young Italian man, who was left with his parent's large douiri, a cute younger brother, and his grandfather Roma, who will stop at nothing to steal the cottage right out from under Antonio's feet. And Antonio won't stop until he’s gotten the cottage, and won the heart of the young Italian, Lovino Vargas.
