The Red Room Massacre

This is a story based around the flash animation 'The Red Room', which was available in Japanese and gained notoriety for being the inspiration for a young girl who committed the Sasebo Slashing in 2004.
While some elements of the animation are used, the characters and the plot is entirely out of my own imagination.
Plot synopsis:
The infamous Adobe Flash video 'The Red Room' has claimed its next victim. A young 17 year old boy was found dead after apparently painting the walls of his room red with his own blood. It was ruled off as suicide by the police, but his best friend is suspicious. His friend was popular and didn't have any enemies and was a high academic achiever. There was no reason for him to commit suicide. And thus begins his search to find what happened and to avenge the death of his best friend.....

This story is inspired by ancient China and doesn't have a specific time period it plays out in (remember that it's a fantasy world and not meant to be 100% history accurate, it's a world I made not a documentary lol) and all characters are my own and I do not allow for them to be used (fanart or fanfics are okay as long as you give credit!), I cannot say more than that without spoiling everything! but if you enjoy reading Danmei you will surely love this! ( COMPLETED) Yo is not your average 17 year old guy, he was raised in a secret facility called H.M.E ( Human Mutant Essentials ) where people are given up or sent to, to be experimented on to create the perfect abnormal human. To gain special strength, knowledge and abilities. Yo has been experimented on his whole life and finds pain to be normal, the tests they run on Yo has left him with permanent physical changes too that he barely even looks human. Yo has never been treated as a human so he has no idea how to act or feel like one. Maddie starts her second year in high school and shes super stoked! Despite of being the center of attention at school she wishes to be normal girl because her memories of being a testing experiment in H.M.E as a little girl still taunts her and she's good at everything because of the special abilities they gave her which she thinks isn't fair. No matter how much she wants to forget her past she can't because she does not want to forget the first boy she ever loved who was also a testing experiment with her who she called "Yo-kun " She's haven't seen him in 7 years and wonders if he's even alive or if she will ever see him again. A new kid arrives at school and all the kids fear him as he looks like he can be the son of Satan.
