Dakota is your typical 17 year old girl. When school gets out for summer in her rather ordinary high school in Hulbert county she goes to her lake house where her family used to stay. She isn't to excited to be there considering last summer her mother passed away right before they went. So every night she speaks to her mother through the moon. What will happen to Dakota and Blaire (her friend that tags along on this adventure)? Let's just say, meeting Jake, was not on her summer list of things to do.
