Sitting under the shade of that tree felt so familiar. It was our hang out place after all. I now see him walking towards me with that same big smile that made my heart flutter and feel butterflies in my stomach. He never changed after all these years, yet there is this sudden aura in him that makes my eyes suddenly hot and warm with tears on the verge of falling.
Finally, he's here.
Our eyes met and the tears that I kept on suppressing just fell.
Yet, I had a smile on my face. So whether these are tears of joy or despair, I wanted him to know that despite everything we have come up against, I am here. Always here.

It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. Preview: I feel the blood running down my head from the attack. I try to move but my hands are pulled back from the silver chains on tied to the wall. He slowly cups her face, and joins their heads released from the powers unknown to her, as he comforts her, "Don't worry, we will be over this, together."
