OUR PROMISE.

On a cold, December night, Eren Jaeger goes to the roof of the apartment building he lives in to watch the stars. But, instead of stars, he sees a man, an older man, on the edge. Ready to jump. This wasn't the first time such a thing happened.

Eren convinces him to stay alive for a little longer, and when the man asks why, all Eren says is:

“Because I will give you a reason to live for.”

“I promise.”
