Awaken

20 years into the future, a deadly virus has caused half of the world to fall into oblivion. It is called the Yellow Mud virus. Johnathon and Micheal - who don't even know that each other exist - are two people who join together in the inevitable doom that awaits. When Johnathon's mother falls ill with the virus and Micheal witnesses a gory attack while roaming the grey streets of Culpeper, they realize that the world is coming to an end. Infected people aren't clearly noticeable except for the yellow, muddy substance they cough up. The infected still show up to work, at school, and in public to then commit horrifying feats of cold-blooded murder. Will Johnathon and Micheal tell the difference between the infected and their family, or will they perish with the rest of humanity?
