Gerard Way is a messed up man. After having his grandmother pass in front of him in a hospital bed, and watching the World Trade Center fall, he goes into a deep depression. And has an addiction to drugs and alcohol. No one, not even his younger brother, Mikey can bring him up.
Frank Iero is man who's life isn't also rainbows and butterflies. After coming out about his sexuality to his parents, they kick him out. He's also struggling with the payment of his apartment, so sometime he goes starving.
Frank finds a new job at a local coffee shop and once he lays his eyes on a man with broken hazel eyes, and long really dark brown hair, almost black. And when Gerard finds the man covered in tattoos, having a nose and lip ring, with a small scorpion tattoo on his neck.
They might have found there ways to happiness

Don't Look Down
Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide.
