"But," I pause, "What if he isn't the one who needs saving."
The look he gives me is indecipherable.
I want to scream at him, when he doesn't speak and continues to stare at me. I want to tell him that my life isn't ever going to be normal like him, Lois, Sara or Beaudon. It isn't a story or a fairytale, because usually, these things usually end in happiness.
