In fear, Her curse had ruled her life. Her heart had hardened in time with dread and terror.

Death, she had often see. Happiness was something she doesn't know.

She had almost lost all hope to live. Before she had met Lyon in an odd encounter. His piercing blue eyes said nothing of fear, hate or pity but of something else Yeniya could not describe. She couldn't because they were emotions she never experienced before.

Will Lyon be able to save Yeniya from the darkness that was ruining her? Or will they burn together in flames, unable to save themselves from the monsters that kept on knocking on the door of their hearts?

Excerpt:

"Don't touch me or you'll die." Yeniya said, as Lyon tried to approach her.

The floor seemed to castle and glow below their feet. An imaginary force was drawing them near.

"Please, just let me treat your wounds." Lyon pleaded as his eyes glistened with tears.

The wounds in her body was nothing to the wound she had in her heart.

Lyon was already someone she valued so greatly thus she couldn't.

His death would also kill her.

UPDATED WEEKLY He finally released my legs, allowing me to slide down his body until my feet hit the floor, but that was as far as he let me go. Heat was radiating off him scorching me all the way down my spine as he held me tightly against him. His quick breaths were falling on the back of my neck with a tingling warmth that brought goosebumps to the surface of my skin. Placing one large hand on my shoulder, he wrapped my long brown hair around his other. Gently, he tugged on my dark mane, pulling my head to the side and exposing the tender column of my neck. Bringing his nose down to the crook there, he inhaled deeply, a rumbling "mmmm" escaping his lips. My mouth went dry. "Are-" I swallowed. "Are you going to mark me?" I manage in a stuttered whisper. The woman standing before Shade stole every ounce of cognition from him. She was stunning, the moon paled in comparison. The top of her head would not even graze his chin. Her height did not stop her from being imposing. A dark blue vest clung to her chest reveling taught skin over lean muscle. The black leather pants hung low on her hips, exposing soft flesh. Her gaze roamed the crowd, surveying the stupidity around her. After a moment she finally turned attention in his direction. When her gaze met his, it stopped heart. The dark blue pools shone in the dim light, dark as the night sky. She blew a strand of silver out of her face. Shade's wolf surged to the surface, and they growled. They itched to touch her skin, bury our face in her hair, to feel its softness and inhale its sweet scent. They wanted to stare into her night eyes. She needed to be theirs. ---- Eska's eyes found Shade quickly. He pushed through crowd, pulling his jacket off and threw it to the stocky blonde at his side. She spoke in low frantic words. He ignored her and climbed in the ring. Shade tugged his shirt over his head and Eska's heart skipped. This man was built like a bear. Shade's physique was reminiscent of strong man instead of a body builder. His pectorals were covered in a fine swath of dark hair that trailed down his belly disappearing into his jeans. Jeans that hugged his thighs tightly, thighs like a rugby player. Shade looked towards her quickly, a smirk filling his face, sharp canines peaking beneath his lips. He wasn't human, but she wanted him regardless.
