A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.

Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014) bởi emmernemmer

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.

This is the first draft of a book I wrote, in FIVE DAYS. I missed the first three weeks of nanowrimo, and in the last few days, decided to really challenge myself. it was awful. the book however, i think turned out pretty good all things considered.

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!

This is the novel I'm writing for National Novel Writing Month, I'm planning on it being approx. 50,000 words, that's 1,667 words per day. This project might continue on into December if it gets enough reads and support, that being a big if. If it's not getting the attention I want it to get for the publishing to be a good idea, then I won't work with it anymore or waste anymore time on a dying novel. You may have noticed I have changed the title, I'm planning on making this a short series, maybe four or five books, unless I can keep coming up with a plot that won't get boring after that. As of right now, I don't even know what's going to happen on the next page. I'm planning on publishing this soon, it'll be available on Amazon when I do if anyone wants to purchase it and help a girl out. I'll post about it when it is available, keep an eye out for notifications and updates on how the editing is coming. I'm still looking for a few people to give me constructive criticism on this piece, help me edit the original maybe, I just need some help with it because I've been staring at it for way too long. Shoot me a message on here with your Instagram if you're interested in helping, there is no limit to how many people I will take, as long as it's not like 38740981 people. Which it won't be but you get the point.
