The world is a very different place in 2067. Following a large nuclear explosion, some of the citizens started to develop strange abilities, these individuals were labeled freaks and were sentenced to living a poor life of doing all the jobs that no one wanted, a futile attempt to dull their abilities. Meet Cyan. A young girl growing up in the metropolis. With no family that she knows of, she is made a guardian, someone who fights away the mutated threats to the city. But strange things are happening in the freak community; people are disappearing for no real reason, who is taking them? The Originals, or the Mutants that they protect the city from. Cyan, with a little help from her friend (and maybe a bit more) Viridian, are determined to find out in the hopes that it would improve their lives. But will they like the answer? And is knowledge really the key to happiness?
