Enter Hermione Granger, teenage savior of the Wizarding World, brains of the Golden Trio, and all-around Griffindor good girl. She's determined to have a normal school year this year, with no mortality rate. Sadly, things don't go according to plan. Hermione is made Head Girl- no surprise there- but Ron isn't. Another familiar face is, though. A pale, gray-eyed, ferret-y face. How is she going to get through the year without jumping off of the Astronomy Tower in an effort to end the torture that is soon to befall her?

Enter Draco Malfoy, teenage Death Eater, cowardly ferret, and all-around Slytherin bad boy. He's determined to make it through the year without getting caught up in any kind of plot or coup. To his surprise, he is made Head Boy. Unfortunately, another familiar face is made Head Girl. A bushy-haired, bossy, beaver-ish face. He doesn't think he can handle being within twenty feet of her, let alone sharing a common room! How is he going to make it through the year without Avada Kedavra-ing himself?

In a twist of fate, the two are shunted together at every turn, and they're driving each other mad. Sadly, the normality the have come to know once again won't last for long, and soon, strange things begin happening. Inside and out of Hogwarts, people are being killed, and the two may just be the only ones who can stop it.
