Charlie is a girl striving for individuality. She expresses herself through her mom's old passion - ballet. She never got to meet her mom, she only knew certain things about her: she's very kind and pretty, dances ballet, and once portrayed the lead, Odette in Swan Lake. Charlie is given the chance to play the exact same role of Odette in their upcoming performance. She takes the chance, not only to follow in her mom's footsteps, but to make a name for herself. Of course, it was inevitable for her to meet jerks, mean girls, and quite possibly, the love of her life on the way up. Suddenly, an accident changes her life and knocks her down from the top.
