"I can try." He whispered as she drifted off to sleep.
Her name was Ashton. She suffered from depression since age 8, been cutting since age 10, and starving since age 12. She knew from the beginning she had to hide it from any wandering eyes or curious friends. No one knows. Not her parents. Not her friends. But that all changed when she met Luke. Both age 17, now, he learned the truth. But what can he do? And will she let him try to save her?

This is a Luke fanfic and my first one actually. Updates will be extremely random because I write when I have inspiration and on days I don't, I read.

Also, there may be very detailed scenes involving self harm and suicide attempts. Please don't read if this will trigger you in any way because I love you all! I'm also here in you need me. Maybe his new friend Luke can help him more then Ashton knows. Luke was bullied all his life for being fat. He would come home from school crying into his mother's arms. He became so depressed that he stopped eating all together. One day he looked in the mirror and realized that he was losing weight. He stopped getting bullied but still continued not to eat unable to shake the disease. He soon became hospitalized and started to eat again but after he got rejected by multiple collages his self esteem went down and he stopped eating.
