Working in a state park. It was like working at a summer camp, except a lot quieter, cleaner, and easier. It was the perfect summer job for Lily. She got to spend all summer in the places she loved, and it would look great on her college applications. Perfect. But of course, it's never that simple! Thanks to a certain, mischievous boy, who loves to watch the chaos that follows Lily wherever she goes. He almost makes Lily want to abandon her no-commitment lifestyle. Almost. All it takes is 3 months in the middle of no where and one incredibly intriguing boy to change her. It becomes one summer that Lily never wants to forget. Why can't one summer just last forever?

When Max's parents go on vacation, he decides to spend the week with his best friend, Lilly, who also happens to be the sister of his long-time straight crush. Spending seven days with Lilly, Jake and his girlfriend during the summer break before college starts can't be that bad, right? 'Imagine falling in love with a straight guy. Well, that's exactly what I did. It's a story as old as time, and I'm trying my best to get over him, but the fact that his sister is my best friend doesn't help, along with his suspiciously odd girlfriend that keeps popping up at inconvenient times. We really are failing at crushing 101- falling for someone you can never have.' CONTENT WARNING: My characters enjoy cursing (thanks, Jake), and this story delves into darker topics such as mental health, issues faced by minority groups, includes violence and more.
