Annabeth Moturs looks exactly like your average Aussie teen. Just looking at her, you wouldn't guess that anything out of the ordinary would happen behind closed curtains at "home". A victim to her step-father's hands and words, she feels as if there is no way out of the hell hole for her and her mother.
Annabeth thinks that not everyone is who they seem to be and is wary of everyone around her. She hides the truth from everyone. Confides in no one. So, when someone tries to help, will she take their hand and hold on to it?

Three days later, Emily is allowed to return home. But she's not the same again. She has still nightmares and she see things that nobody else see. Adam and Luke are very worried about her.
