If things had been simple, they weren't this group of friends. They were liars and keepers of secrets but more so just broken kids who had lived through a tragedy that had shook the town they lived in. The town in which families had become like strangers and strangers had become treasured friends. As parents cope by pretending to cope, Corina and the friends around her find it impossible to hide from night misfortune disturbed their lives and tore them apart. And with the return of an old friend, a year on, the group must confront not only the lies they had been telling themselves but also the moments they had once shared together.
