***This is a rough draft*** please read and leave comments. They would be extremely helpful. Aiden Phillips is a high school kid who struggles with depression and anxiety. Due to having a terrible memory, Aiden decided to write in journals about his daily struggles, his longing for a better life, and breakthroughs that he accomplishes throughout the story. Aiden loves to sing and Write his own music. He is good at the piano but his love is the old guitar that his Gramps gave him years ago. Aiden has one younger brother named Caleb, which is the normal typical annoying brother. Aiden has a girlfriend named Tessa who lives about an hour away from him who he longs to marry. Throughout the story, Aiden struggles to move on through each day, as days turn into night and night into day, he finds himself growing colder towards his father. Who is the towns hero practically. everybody loves the star football coach, Josh Phillips. Things aren't what they seem behind doors though, their father tends to be abusive. Verbal and physical. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?Complete

Personally, I never saw myself as an optimistic person. I never really had any friends, I didn't share feelings for people, I never really had any social life whatsoever. My life was always boring. Especially when I was younger. My parents were sucked up alcoholics, we never had the money to do anything due to my mom quitting her job and my dad being a selfish prick. Though, I'm now an adult; 18 years old. No longer in school. I have job at Walmart as a nightshift stocker; my mother's friend gave me the job. It's summer, so I'm not working as much. I have a small friend group, containing people of 4. Me including, Nathan, Carly, and Dalton. We've known each other since early middle school. I, Kyle, have known Carly and Dalton since grade school. It is rolling up to be Summer. Us 4, have decided to make this Summer year the best of our lives. Join me and the others in our journey, exploring our emotions and different places. Getting into tight scenarios. Explore it through our different pov's. Arissa has to deal with a music teacher who wants to share her gift, a father that wants nothing to to with it, a school that just wants to know who this mystery person is, and a football captain/delenquint that gets a little too close for comfort. Join Arissa in a story filled with music, dancing, crazy dogs and nasty snogs, and most of all, tears and lust filled eyes. What would this genre be without them?
