A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Complete

But one day, during a big storm, Pearl gets separated from her mother and older sister, and Pearl finds herself closer to the human world. It's not until a matter of time until these two mermaids meet and become friends. But when Pale gives Pearl a taste of a surfing competition at the human world, Pale discovers the truth that she is missing and people are preparing a reward for the people who find her. The girl, who found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, experienced a stroke of misfortune. Following this incident, she was drawn into a world completely foreign to her, where she struggled to adapt to her new life. I was face to face with death. I knew it. I hadn't even realized when his hand had grasped mine. Fear overshadowed all my senses. But after what felt like an eternity, I finally felt my wrist. He was gripping it so tightly that blood could no longer flow to my hand. As I lowered my head to look at the hand clutching my wrist, he used his other hand to grab my chin, turning my face toward his. Then, he pressed his lips to mine. I stood frozen for a moment. Then, I let myself go. For a fleeting instant, he seemed to let himself go too. And then, just like that, he was gone. In an instant, he had vanished. The hand gripping my wrist, the lips pressing against mine-gone. And I was left standing there, completely stunned. It felt as though I had forgotten my own name. I started to tremble. My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.

Little that she doesn't know, her brother try to get rid of her due to envy. He was younger than her. Lucia was being appointed to become the next queen for the kingdom. The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid.
