Horsekit has a great reputation. Her mother, Cinderstripe, saved the clan from the Twolegs. You'd be respected too, right? Until she became mute and disfigured. It takes a toll on the body, mind, and emotions. So Horsepaw looses friends, gains friends, makes sacrifices, and finds out shocking secrets.
