This is a way for me to reminisce on some of my high school experiences, so a lot of these jokes, situations, and references may not make sense. Also these are from my perspective, so they may not be the most truthful :3.

You know the old saying fake it til you make it? Well my best friend took that a little too seriously. Caitlyn came up with a crazy scheme to help me finally get the guy I had been crushing on for three years. Her plan was a little unorthodox to say the least. She decided that her and her boyfriend Colton should stage a break up so I could pretend to date him for a month. He was the quarterback of the football team and the most popular guy in school. She said dating him would make the guys at our school finally stop seeing me as a shy, undateable nerd. She said I would have my pick of any guy after that, including my crush Takashi. It was the most ridiculous plan I had ever heard of. There was no way anyone would actually believe me and Colton were dating. He was the quarterback of the football team. It would have probably been easier to convince the whole school that I was dating the President. The problem was, I knew she was right. It was probably the only way I could get Takashi (my crush) to see me as girlfriend material and I wanted that more than anything in the world. Plus, Caitlyn's crazy schemes usually worked and I was desperate, so I reluctantly agreed to it. The weirdest part of the whole thing was, her boyfriend Colton used to be my best friend before him and her started dating and she gradually took his place as my best friend. It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Side note: never fall for your fake boyfriend. When my best friend convinced me to write a love letter to my crush, I didn't expect it to all go south. But in the locker of one of the most popular football players in the senior class, Ian Bale. Who also just happens to be my crush's older brother. Luckily, he promises to keep it a secret. But our actions start spreading rumors about us and in the next minute, I'm thrown into a fake relationship. But it works out for the both of us. Ian saves me from potential embarrassment while I help get his friends off his back about his dating life (or lack thereof). However, as the month progresses, I find myself enjoying more and more of his company. From his cheesy pick-up lines to his sense of wonder and even his nerdy glasses. My priorities begin to shift and I can't help but be a little terrified of the prospect of trusting another guy again. But I think I can make an exception.
