It's a special institute for heroes in training, specifically younger ones. Sounds pretty straightforward, right? Wrong. As if it weren't enough that the school has a competitive simulation called The Games that feels way too real, there's also the fact that this school has some pretty huge secrets, and a deadly history. What could possibly go wrong?

Wanting to understand why a villain becomes a villain before crucifying them, as is the tradition, he befriends Jade, the only student at the school who knows a villain personally. Jade, Belladonna's best friend since childhood, is Belladonna's college roommate. She's always tried to get her friend to see that she could choose her own destiny, but gets nowhere until Hades, another villain in training, comes along. Unfortunately, a villain being friends with a superhero and vise versa is not acceptable. Once they become a Vindicator, these students go through four years of training and learning to use their ability at their highest power.
