"Levi, you are part of our family. You're practically my brother!" "I told you to stop saying that Alison!" "Stop saying wha-" Suddenly his lips crash to mine in a unity of passion. I'm in shock. Paralyzed by this new revelation. It was nothing like before, it wasn't gentil, tender or even sweet. It was desperate. Reviving. Intense. We were like north and south. Night and day. Love and hate. And yet that thought only made us feel more alive. ---------- We've all felt that moment in our lives when we feel like we want to die. That simple action to end all the pain and suffering. Because this pain we're feeling is so consuming it drives us to the edge of insanity. It's not fun, is it. Allie Carter lives a normal life, with normal friends and goes to a normal school. The most exciting part of her week is when a new episode of Planet Earth is aired at 8pm on a Tuesday night. Nothing really happens in her boring life. Nothing good. Nothing bad. But when her brother's best friend - Levi Hayes - attempts to commit suicide, her entire life flips upside down putting everything in a new perspective. She plays the hero... ...but what if the hero needs to be saved from herself? Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
101 parts Complete Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (completed) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light (ongoing) Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love

The Pharaoh

28 parts Complete

"What are you?" he asked me with suspicion. I was taken a bit off guard by his words and stuttered out, "I...I don't know." Alison doesn't know what she did to deserve the torture that she goes through. In fact, she doesn't even understand the torture. All she knows is that whenever she gets close to someone she wakes up somewhere totally new. Each place is different, and some of them are really different. However, none of them have been as different as this new dimension... or as dangerous. Now she's seemingly stuck in ancient Egypt. All of which would be fine if an uprising against the Pharaoh hadn't caused chaos. Now she's trying to discover what she is and stay alive with the help of the Pharaoh. Book 3 in the Amari series Can be read as a stand-alone
