“m..Mr. Colin” Emma stuttered, hating how weak her voice sounded. She cleared her voice and gave it another try “Mr. Collin what are you doing here?” It felt like standing on the edge of a crumbly hill noticing how those cold eyes watched her every move. Emmett frowned as he caught a tiny flicker of fear in those soft brown eyes, his face darkened and his mood blackened as he quickly sought the words he had prepared to say” I never knew I needed a reason to come see my fiancée”. He was keen to see the sudden stiffening of her frame yet, her eyes remained unyielding and her small hands entwined in front of her. “I did not mean...” her voice trailed off even as he cut her short. “I didn’t come all the way down here to have whatever you call this with you” he said that with so much disgust that made her almost break down in front of him. “ Where is Jane?” if possible her heart started beating ten times faster than normal “I don’t know…I think she went visi…” she was cut short as the arrogant brute took cold calculated, menacing step towards “ I will ask you one last time. Where is Jane?”
