Kallistia, or Kallie, was the most beautiful girl anyone has ever seen. Add her personality, and you've got the perfect girl. How can a girl like Kallie exist? Well, her father is none other than Zeus, king of all gods. And, Kallistia is his unknown daughter, the one girl that can make any guy fall in love.

When she was born, her mother had to take her and care for her, with little help from Zues. Kallie's mother was a mortal, you see. And, Zues knew he couldn't care for her, for he was already married to Hera. Though, all the goddesses and most of the gods knew about Kallistia, and they wanted to bestow gifts upon the child.

Aphrodite gave her the gift of beauty, so she can be as beautiful as her.
Athena gave her the gift of wisdom.
Demeter gave her the gift of nature.
Apollo gave her the gift of music, so her voice was as beautiful as she looked.
Ares gave her the gift of war, so she can be the best warrior that ever lived.
Hephaestus gave her the gift of fire.
Poseidon gave her the gift of water.
And Zeus gave her the power of the lightning bolt.

Thing is, she doesn't get any of her powers, until she reaches the age of 16. Pretty good story right? Wrong.

The only son of Hades, Lucius. After the many attempts his father made to take over Mount Olympus, and the world, he decided to take over. First thing he has to do, is make Kallistia his queen. That is the only way he can become king. But, will Kallie fall for his tricks? Or catch him and defeat him, and save the world.

Well, read on to find out.

[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.

But...word leaked out and as Apollo bid her farewell they were caught in a crossfire between two elements, that of the sea and the other from the lands. Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.
