Every few years, a Gatherer will choose a human to go on an epic quest that will change their life, and the lives around them, forever. Those that are chosen are called Rifters. These Rifters travel through the mist, unlike ordinary humans who can't, in order to fulfill their purpose. And I was deemed one of them.
Amelia Handley has been marked a Rifter. She has been chosen to fulfill a glorious purpose unbeknownst to her. She enters the world of Avacia where she finds the world is in complete chaos. With the help of an unlikely group of characters with bitter history between them, She and her group of warriors must stop the Dark Sorceress, Leviona, from rising once more.
