The Gladers have had their memories wiped and they are on a journey through the Scorch to find a cure for the 'Flare'. They are all desperate to find out about the people who put them in the Maze, WCKD . As far as they know WICKED is the only chance they have at having their memories back. Or are they?.

The Gladers don't know it but someone has if you can call it that 'escaped' WICKED and has been trying for years to escape  yet another place but it seems impossible. She has given up hope and has nothing to fight for.

Can she get the will power to escape yet again.
