The Gladers have had their memories wiped and they are on a journey through the Scorch to find a cure for the 'Flare'. They are all desperate to find out about the people who put them in the Maze, WCKD . As far as they know WICKED is the only chance they have at having their memories back. Or are they?.
The Gladers don't know it but someone has if you can call it that 'escaped' WICKED and has been trying for years to escape yet another place but it seems impossible. She has given up hope and has nothing to fight for.
Can she get the will power to escape yet again.
This is a story of my own with pieces from the books and the films.

Trust (Newt x Reader ~ 2)
You and the Gladers escaped the maze and are finally free from Wicked's grasp. Everything is perfect. You're fed, given new clothes, given the proper care, but it doesn't last long. With the help of a new friend, you realize that nothing is as perfect as it seems, and that you never escaped from Wicked. You and the Gladers flee the facility and decide to face the Scorch on your own, soon learning how difficult it is to survive in a world plagued by the sun. However, the Scorch seems to be the least of your problems as you realize that no one can be trusted, not even the Gladers. No past. No answers. Just the cold truth that she's trapped with a group of boys who have no idea why they're there, either. The Glade is their makeshift sanctuary: walls of routine inside walls of stone. But nothing stays safe for long. Not when (Y/n) is the first girl to ever arrive. Not when their world starts to change. Not when the nightmares waiting in the dark start hunting during the day. Every rule starts to break. Every answer leads to more questions.
