Shaman

A dark romantic fantasy set in a world of magic, Gods and kings; where wicked monarchs clash for territory and besieged natives strain for survival in a war that would soon leave the populations dead.
Ava is a young sage who is reckless and obstinate and, against her will, is readying to become her village's next Shaman. Drako is a sadistic young Prince who destroyed her life many years ago. Circumstances lead Ava to the kingdom where she must take her mother's place as Drako's slave, prophesising and aiding him in battle. A prophesy tells of the Princes' death. Only Ava can help him decipher and avoid it. But only if her deep hatred for him allows her to comply.
