Elodie is in between two worlds - her homeland, the far off planet of Ionet - and Earth. She must make herself one with the humans so as to annilate their race. But then, Elodie starts to doubt whether or not this is the right decision. She must betray one of her worlds - Earth, which has her love, Caleb - and Ionet, which has her family. What will she do?

In a world divided, one girl walks the thin line between Blessing and Damnation. The arcane arts are feared, and for good reason. Twisting the Light to one's own purposes is what led to the downfall of the majority of the Elvenfolk, including their leader High Priest Redfeather. As he leads his own dark forces against the humans and fugitive Elves, the Brotherhood is preparing to battle back the Shadow Alliance's armies. During the coming of age ceremony, one young woman walks the line between the two worlds. Born to a human father and Elven mother, Kalyra Brooken is on a journey to make her world her own when she meets another Elven fugitive that taught her human grandmother the arcane magics. The scrolls are forbidden, the spells dangerous, but the power might just be enough to save her friends and win back her place among her people.
