This story is about a teenage mother that was abandoned from the age of 14. Her mom dropped her off at the pharmacy with all her important documents and a backpack of clothes that should last her for a week and said she will be right back and never came back. 4 years later, this teenage girl got raped and when she saw her stomach getting big, she realized she was pregnant. She is now in a shelter and getting all the help she can get, she recently got her diploma and she has an job but since she is 18, she will soon be kicked out of the shelter but she still is saving for an small apartment because her baby is on the way soon. She doesn't want her child to go through what she went through. She makes $5 an hour and she only works 4 hours every week as a cashier at McDonald's. Her rape situation still taunts her but since the shelter has an church she attends it every Sunday and is getting better one step at a time.
