How far will you go to protect your country? How far will you go to protect your best friends? These brave men and women are like no others. They're part of the U.S. Army and they're the best there is. Currently, they're touring Afghanistan and the terrorists who know about them never go a second without watching their backs. But what is the key to their success? Well, it's very simple. They owe their job and their lives to their pet wolf, called D-Day, DD for short. D-Day gets them out of a firefight with barely a paper cut. He also makes the party aware of the troubles that are ahead of the path. But who are these soldiers, you might ask? These soldiers are Jody Rhodes, Jacky McFee, Jackson Mendez, and D-Day's handler, Riley McWolf. If you need protection, these soldiers and D-Day have your back. If you need help, they got you covered. If you just simply need friends, there are no better friends in the world than them. One day, they captured a terrorist leader. Riley questioned him for everything that he knows. The terrorist told them that they were planning an attack on their base. After Riley had ordered the terrorist to be put in the cell for later questioning, the terrorist asked: 'Who are you people?' Riley just had to look at his grinning wolf, who was swishing his tail back and forth after an exhilarating day. Finally, a name came up in his head. 'Us five?' He said. The terrorist nodded. 'Oh. It's really simple. We are the War Wolves. Better tell your friends about us.' From that moment on, the five members were know as the 'War Wolves.' And with that, the War Wolves completed every mission with flying colors. Now I got a question for you: Will you run from a fight or come back and bite? WARNING!!! Hunter Anther was like an open book, he'd never been afraid to be his true self. Especially his sexuality. However not everything is for everyone. Being born to the one of the largest pack to ever exist, he wasn't accepted. Everyone hated him and often bullied him, even his family. He'd hoped that after meeting his mate, regardless of gender he would finally find peace and happiness. But the moon goddess truly wasn't fond of him because in addition to being an outcast, he wasn't blessed with a wolf. What happens when his future Alpha, aka biggest bully and former friend turns out to be his mate. Will he accept and care for him or make him lose the last bit of hope he had? Like a saying goes 'The grass isn't always green on the other side.' *** "I didn't mean it.. I.. I was young and ignorant..." he tried to explain while clenching my hand, I looked at him in disgust and pulled my hand away. "What about me? How old wad I to deserve all the things you did to me?! Tell me, how was I different from you? Four years ago you rejected me after everything you've done to me. It wasn't enough punishment for you, you didn't even spare me a glance after ruining me. You left me, you are not gay." My voice trembled bit at the end but my face remained as emotionless as ever. I will never give him the satisfaction of seeing me vulnerable, not again. But why does my heart feel like it's bleeding? Shouldn't I be hating him and happy that he's on his knees begging me. So why am I tearing along with him? **** 25/02/24 - 9/08/24 **** A/N How many of us believe in second chances? Does love really conquer it all? This is not a 'love is blind' story, if you're looking for one.
