Mercy

"M-Mercy! Mercy! Please I'll leave.... If you let me go you'll never see me ever again! God I-I'm sorry just please let me live!"

Sobbing he couldn't take it, her eyes, those Goddamn eyes seemed to be staring into his soul, gazing at each disgusting sin. She watched him as if he was a insignificant, as if he had absolutely no worth ......as if he wasn't even human.

She stared at him.....no saw through him as if he was as transparent and seemed to expose every flaw and every weak-link in the mental armor that surrounded his mind.

Clenching his fist, he wished to turn back time, to stop himself from following the seemingly innocent waif who was currently staring him down.

Slowly crumbling to his knees, he couldn't help but tremble with dread, slowly hating himself more and more with each passing second. He'd rather have a hundred of those dead freaks outside ravenously tearing at him than deal with her calculating stare.

Slowly lifting his head,he looked up hoping to see at least some type of emotion or even an ounce of humanity, but he was sorely disappointed. Those almond-shaped eyes that originally attracted him towards her weren't human.....they were that of a monster- a monster that seemed to fit in perfectly with this new world.

"Mercy", he brokenly whispered. Letting out a couple gut-wrenching sobs, he quickly dropped his stare rather watching the dirty carpet than her inhuman eyes.

With his heart pounding in his ears, he almost missed her soft, breathy reply. Bitterly chuckling to himself, he slowly closed his eyes and smiled.She was right.
