Even in the dark, she could see the dark hue that quickly began to envelope his features; oddly enough, the taller male beside him looked more annoyed than embarrassed to have been caught in the act. His stoic features remained fixed on hers, blazing so harshly that she imagined holes being burnt straight through her scalp.
On the other hand, the wisp looked an awful lot like he was going to have an emotional breakdown as a result of her sudden appearance.
"A-Alice..!" he squeaked. "I though you weren't going to be home until later..."
A brief pause, and that was quickly followed by: "I-it's not what you think it is, really..."

The brunette rolled his eyes for the umpteenth time at Sullivans actions, looking out of his peripheral vision, then stepped into the redhead's personal bubble. He stated, kicking some pebbles away from him. He sighed heavily, looking at Sullivan while moving his fringe out of his eye. "Anyway, I'm terrible at names, so I'm gonna call you Ivan, for short." Sullivans face heated up instantly. He never had a nickname from anyone besides his mother, who called him Sully when he was younger. "O-Okay." The red head stuttered out smiling a bit. "You don't talk much do you? Weird, but I like it." Jasper stated answering his own question. A sheltered Christian red head meets a very blunt emo teen for the first time, but what happens when he discovers hidden secrets and stomach twisting feelings for the tall teen? "So this is it then," Aaron Knowles spoke softly, "this is where it ends." He didn't even respond. Instead Caleb Jefferson rushed towards him, wrapping his arms tightly around Aaron's middle. Aaron nodded, his hand resting in Caleb's shaggy, blond hair. "Me too," he answered, his voice coming out just as soft. "Thank you for a great summer," Caleb tried his hardest to smile, blinking away any tears that threatened to fall. And in that moment the world seemed to pause. Aaron took a step forward, placing a hand under Caleb's chin before moving in closer. Their lips connected for what should have been the final time. - They were never supposed to fall in love, or see each other again. Caleb arrived for his first day at a new high school, and he'd only been there for a second when he saw the familiar sight of ash brown hair ... with his lips pressed to another's. It was only supposed to be a summer fling, yet summer had ended and they were both still there. A story told including flashbacks and drama, Caleb attempts to find his way back to Aaron. I lay in the same position, looking at the now sleeping figure. I was confused and curious. What do you mean by not anymore? I asked in my mind as if he could somehow hear me. But he couldn't. And I wasn't brave enough to ask. Afraid that my heart would be shattered again by the same person I had fallen madly in love with. The only person my soul longed for.
