Many years ago, the world was filled with colors. The beauty was spread around the world, until everything was taken over by a cruel man, who forbids color to the world. The cities were re-built in black, grey and white. If anyone was to wear, see, use, create a color, they were locked in prison. It’s been almost 100 years since the day the change was made, and today’s Ruler, Sky Blackbone, is planning on celebrating the event with a large feast.
Young people have been meeting in secrecy. What are they doing? Are they planning a revolution? Would they dare go against the Ruler?

Linnea, the story's main character, believes her childhood best friend is her soulmate, but she soon learns that there are tricks to this color system. Sometimes, color can be falsely seen in faint hues and sometimes, the person you thought was your soulmate really isn't. Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted? What would happen to the women who went to Uvis would they be treated well? Was it just a way to reduce the Earth's population so it was easier to take over? The year is 2109. The West outlawed sports completely after the ten-year Bruins hockey dynasty caused the destructive riots of 2057. "People" have had no names since 2036, instead being identified by others using chips on the back of their heads. That is, until one person from a province known as Québec names himself Shea-Weber0600 and takes a stand. 33-year-old 0600 got his name and number from a gift his father gave him at his coming-of-age. It was a jersey, which had been made illegal, and 0600 found out that the person on the back had been named Shea-Weber. 0600 knows it's safer to keep the jersey hidden, but he doesn't. Instead, he starts a hockey team. He gathers other jerseys just like his and forms a team he decides to call the "Tricolore," French for three-colored, due to the three colors of the jerseys. The Tricolore set up shop at an abandoned arena, once the popular Centre Bell, and practice in front of thousands of people every week. One of the Tricolore is able to get the word out without notifying police, and soon, there are 32 teams in their new "league." The league lasts just a week before disaster strikes. Two Tricolore players are injured during the night, and forward Phillip-Danault0240 is found dead in his room, his throat slit. Who could have done this?
