Cass has just left her home behind, since her parents decided to move to Vermont. Who the hell lives in Vermont? Farmers or something? Luckily for Cass, her dad picked a house that's ten minutes drive from a giant paintball arena. Cass manages to land a job there, and apparently most of her coworkers, including her insanely hot manager and shift-partner, go to her new school. But learning to navigate this jungle - where all the cool kids own at least one paintball gun - isn't easy, and even though Cass quickly makes a new friend, she just as quickly makes a new enemy, one who is merciless on the field of battle and at school.
