Julie Winston is an average sixteen year old. She's a bookworm and a straight A+ student But apparently has only one friend who just recently moved somewhere else. She's the kind of person who will prefer to stay in a room and read a thick books than to go somewhere and party hard. Now her mom sends her away to summer camp for the whole summer so she can "Socialize" more and she hates being around people she doesn't know. Will she find new friends? Or find new enemies? Or maybe she'll find that special someone? Or will she get her first heartbreak? I don't know read and find out :D Copyright © 2013 | All rights reserved | JhooLeeAhh23

"How many romance books do you read?" Devin asks me. I shrug. "I like them," I say. I keep browsing, running my fingers along the spines. "So, you like romance then?" he asks me. I nod. "What's your favorite part of a love story?" "I like the very first kiss, but I like the second one even more," I say. I bite my lip and look at him. Oh. My. God. What the hell am I doing? Am I flirting? I think that I'm actually flirting. With Devin. Devin, my best friend. I have officially lost my mind. I should probably stop. But I can't seem to. "Will you grab me that one?" I ask. I point above my head, my back's pressed against the bookcase. He locks his gaze on mine and reaches over me to grab the book I asked for. "Thanks." I don't move and neither does he. Riley and Devin have been best friends forever-since Kindergarten. It's Senior year of high school, now. And it's always been simple, Riley's got his back, he's got hers. But as life goes on Riley can't help but wonder if maybe he's not just her best friend, if she likes him as possibly something more. As her feelings deepen and become something greater it becomes more evident that she's falling, really hard. No matter how hard Riley tries she can't stop falling, she can't stop from loving him. Even if it tears her to pieces or even if it destroys their friendship. Pretty soon Riley is going to have to choose between walking the safe line of friendship or taking the unpaved path of love. Will she risk everything for love?

"Friendship is not about who you've known from the longest or who you hang out with, it's about who walked into your life, said 'Hey, I'm here for you' and proved it. My friends proved it." Everyone has secrets and Julie has one that has been eating her alive. She tried to run from the guilt for years but the past comes haunting her new life. When her best friend exchanged her for the school's bad crew the little peace she had is lost. Awful and dangerous rumors surround Micah's "new friends", but what can she do when he doesn't even look at her anymore? Simple, she'll do the only Julie-thing to do: cut through everything like steel scissors and force him to face her. Even if that means threatening the guys that look like they could snap her neck, even if that means coming clean. Nick is a solid rock who would rather keep to himself and throw punches than let people in. People tend to leave anyway. But when a hurricane name Julie comes whirling into his fortress there's little he can do.
