Alena; A student in the University of Manchester and Eleanor Calder’s best friend is delighted when she comes to know that she’s the chosen possessor of a golden ticket the One Direction management were giving away through the ‘Bring Me to 1D’ contest. She excites even at the thought of coming face to face with the band of her dreams. But on her return to Manchester, she finds out something bizarre. Quite flabbergasted initially, but happy for her BFF after all, Alena finds Eleanor to be in a relationship with Louis Tomlinson.
Summer comes and One Direction invites Eleanor and Alena to spend some time with them chilling in Harry’s family bungalow.
Things go well in the beginning, but as time passes by, Alena finds herself to have fallen deeply for Niall Horan. Spending time with him on the bungalow terrace, playing guitar with him, cooking him his favorite dishes, Alena couldn’t believe how mad she was for him after all. But she’s scared of falling in love, not in general, but with a celebrity. She thinks he doesn’t like her, she thinks he has options better than her. In her opinion, even if there is a tiny possibility that he likes her back, what are the odds of them being a couple? She says they wouldn't last.
