The year 2385 we can currently maintain speeds of one thousand times the speed of light and when necessary have an additional boost to exceed that for short periods. We have explored the milky way, made friends and of course made enemies along the way. Follow what happens to one ship as it responds to a distress call and suddenly comes into close contact with a quantum singularity against all odds manage to activate their jump drive. Did they arrive in the milky way or elsewhere...what dangers lie in store for the crew of the battleship HMS Trust.
