Ever since I was a kid I was considered normal. Ordinary like any other kid. I've never tried hard to stand out or "be cool" but this year, my first year of high school, is different. Nobody had ever noticed someone. like me I was a book reader I was always hanging the in back of the crowd or by a corner. I was a shy kid but now I'm different like I finally came out of that weird, awkward, shy self that I was. I'm free and out.....But what do I do now? I don't have any friends I don't know how to do this do I just go up and talk to random people? No they have their own friends. Do I go ask people to be my friend? I have no idea !! It's frustrating to even think about.

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
