From differing perspectives of the nuns of the Abbey, Maria, and the Von Trapps comes an alternate version of the beloved musical with a comedic twist.
Maria is on the run from Nazis and takes refuge in the Abbey hidden away in Switzerland when a demon decides to add her to his list of souls. Maria refuses, but not before Irmagard (pronounced er-ma-gerd) notices their conversation.
Believing she is now a follower of Satan, the nuns are given little choice but to send her away to a family who has been known for scaring away various governesses until they can figure out how to handle the problem known as "Maria".
With original and parody music including various genres and inside jokes from the Nottawasaga Pines Secondary School's production of "The Sound Of Music", this play is sure to have you in fits and giggles all leading up to the surprise ending.
