Childhood friends are always in the danger of losing each other, right?
The story is based around two friends who had a promise between them. One - racked with the crippling mental disorder schizophrenia. The other; whilst normal - deals with him on a daily basis.
One day, she made a promise to him, that she would find a way to fix him fully, heal him completely and 'make the voices go away'. Soon after, he was taken away from her, passed around like dirt to differing mental institutions all over the UK.
Neither had forgotten her promise, she'd studied her entire life just for him - she'd never break a promise to him, never would she toss such a important thing aside because she was his best friend then, she thought about him each day, every day she wondered how it was he was doing. As did he, he thought of his best friend, he kept her in mind, remembering all the times they had together before he was taken away. No progress was made on him - considered a grave threat. He was locked up in a high-security cell. Without hope of escaping his adorning shackles.
The day finally came when the two would meet face to face once more. The day came when the patient Taylor Wilson and the fixer Hannah Moore would finally be thrown together once more, but the question still stands... will they even recognise each other any more?
