A girl named Katie is 13, the oldest out of two. her parents just recently split up. Katie and her Siblings are living with her mother Jen. Her mother struggles to pay the bills. She has no help. Jen can't even help Katie with her homework because she's to busy stressing over bills and can't work. Katies mother soon gets depressed and has to go to rehab leaving Katie to raise her brother and sister.
